Those Google images show exactly the make up of the bush along the route.

Apparently there is a small population of Crested Guineafowl in the dense middle section. But we didn't see them.

Interestingly, this is one of the longest stretches of tar road in Kruger without an artificial waterpoint or dam on it! :shock:

There is one, Gomondwane, but that has been closed most of the time... :-0

There is the Sabie river for quite a long stretch and other natural streams, if I do not error.

Gezantombi dam just past croc bridge is always worth stopping at.
