Should be only the one site...there is the other one south of Skuks:

Will check the new one out this weekend, hopefully?
There are old gravel and sand pits all over Kruger, sterile, sort of, and a relatively fine place to dump non-combustibles. One can see a lot on google earth, but not really an environmental problem yet, until they start dumping indescriminately, which is not impossible at all...

They get that next to the roads anyway, nana!
It's always been like that, every camp has a rubbish heap..where do you think the rubbish goes?
Not the end of the world. But should be away from tourists!

Not feasible at all!
Some recycling theoretically goes out....but those bins you see?...Mostly all goes to the dump and gets burned then buried sometimes. But fine...it's not like Kruger has a different paradise property in this regard, it is just like any other piece of earth, waste just needs to be relatively properly managed, and has been fine for 100 years!
