It's a cool spot if one wants a little excitement also
I'm going to give up on pics shortly as the clan is taking over
The accommodation is fantastic IMO. The master bedroom even has a king size bed which is something I have never slept in

Richprins wrote:This continued all afternoon and we probably caught around 50 fish between us but nothing bigger than 300mm in size, however it was good fun for the kids and better than a weekend in front of the TV.
well done, The Browns!
Very good to see, will definitely visit Oribi Gorge at some stage!
Everything looks clean and sorted!
Family healthy!
SO sexy as always...
The fish are wild RP, but all small
It's definitely worth a visit and Toti is on route, so a braai on the way past is on the cards

You are correct nan, the young are stupidly brave at times
Only Bushpig ventured into the loo while we were there

Bushpig will hang her teeth out Lisbeth
I'm a little hyperactive, so the family doesn't get much time to relax

At around 4pm some of the dam locals decided to make an appearance and the puffie caused a stir
Just before dark the fish really started to chow, so the camera got dumped while the game was on.
Other fishing guests arrived during this time, but although they were full of enthusiasm, didn’t really know what was potting and my junior rats were making a couple fathers look seriously incompetent which I thought would eventually cause a few pelicans, but instead they came looking for advice from the rats which resulted in a few amusing explanations from them on how to fish.
Just as we were starting to settle in and enjoy our evening braai Eksom load shedding decided to stuff up the mood, but fortunately the cow found a lantern and Hawkeyes found a few candles, so at least we could eat with some light.
We woke early to a misty morning and I was fairly surprised to find Bushpig outside already fishing, so she definitely had the “bass bug”
To be continued
