I also think that the ones with 4 or 5 horns should be separate species...but what do I know...? -O-

Regarding the "flaming" giraffes, there is a theory that some young males exhibit "homosexual" tendencies...mounting each other and what not. Probably just frustrated and practising...who knows? :-?

Unfortunately we arrived when it had already "dropped", but still we were lucky :-) I took about 20 pics and it took half an hour before it got on its feet; the long legs continued to collapse.
