I was in Nr 3
all the night the fire raging, all around the camp and I followed it, almost all the night too
and the day after

what desolation... all was burned, black, dead and to console me........... Safran made an appearence
another time... maybe to remember all can arrive

One of my bestest moments also happened on our first stay.
The SO was taking a nap and I was watching the waterhole.
A martial eagle got there first:

23/10/2011
A bateleur quickly followed:

23/10/2011
And the next was circling above:

23/10/2011
And while watching that one, I had almost missed the arrival of a youngster:

23/10/2011
And the one I had watched above, was landing too:

23/10/2011
And yet another one got ready for grounding:

23/10/2011
At some point we had two adults and one juvenile bateleur and the martial sitting at the waterhole.
4 other bateleurs were still airborne and a tawny had visited inbetween as well, but seemed to be
a bit uncomfortable with the mighty majority of bateleurs around.
