Great pics of the ellies
Now how was your first night at Tsendze? With the nightsky and no electricity... please tell me that you at least didn't have loud neighbours... and how was rodger and elena?

Thanks Heksie
Yes I can tell you we had very well behaved neighbours

the one omie even came over and boosted my wet wood to burn very good
All I can say is Tsendze is a great camp and camping in such a wonderfull place under the stars is AWESOME

I'll do it any time again

, the absence of electricity did'nt bother us at all
Rodger was on leave but Elena was a great host and visited every campsite every night

Lovely to see a new TT on one of the best Kruger Camps, namely Tsendze. Lovely pic of the Sharpe's grysbok , Baobab tree and "underwater" scene of turtles swimming. I want to agree on the name of the big tusker seen near Letaba.
What is your best spot near Tsendze to view animals?
Thanks BJ for joining

glad you like my TT so far
We didn't really have a best spot near Tsendze because we went to Shingwedzi and Satara, but when we drove around I think part of the S50 and the mooiplaas road from the S50 to the S49

Day 3......Part 2:
Giraffe:
Very grumpy Ellie, he chaced us for about 300m that I had to reverse and then went on destroying a perfectly innocent tree

:
Calmness:
Crocodile:
Elephant family:
Another great view:
Wildebeast and some hippos:
Quellias:
Vulture scanning the area:
Hammerkop:
Feld after the fire:
Another great scene:
Hippos checking things out:
I nearly missed this birdie, Black Crake :
Goliath Heron:
Saddle Billed Stork:
So day 3 got to a end, lots off great sightings and some close calls with some very grumpy ellies

but we had a great day and settled at camp with a cold beer and the fire burnning, ready for a braai
Day 4 to follow.....

a lekker fire burning and an ice cold beer
You really had great sightings and such your landscapes are brilliant. It seems that you had a bit of everything on your trip
Love the black crake and the ellies and of course my fave bird-the hamerkop
That is one of the reasons why I say Tsendze is my fave camp... they come and visit every night and want to know how are you, even with Rodger away, Elena still came on her lonesome to you guys

They are rare jewels...
We braaied every night and after braaiing we made a fire again and just sat and enjoyed the quiteness

and enjoying our drinks ofcourse
Jip Heksie lots of different scenes, animals and birds
Must say it's the first time anyone from KNP came to see how we are

, and sommer every night
