The breakfast was competitively priced and service very quick and good! $\O$ $\O$

I just had a coffee, in protest!

And a tree flower outside!

Next stop was Shitlhave Dam...we were one day late as nothing was going to be drinking for months! $0*\$

Quite fancy to see the cloud on the mountain there!

Borderline picked up a juvenile fish eagle seated on the dam wall!

A bit further on the rain cleared a bit, and there was quite a well=endowed elephant! $\O$

This was to be the only few hours of sunshine on the trip, so no danger of heatwave!

The tree is an exotic orchid tree, likely Bauhinia variegata $0*\$ (or Bauhinia purpurea or Bauhinia X blakeana)

In the old days landscaping of the camps involved a lot of ornamental exotic trees.
