Re: A visit to planet Mopani
Thank you all for following
We carried on with the tar road and saw this nyala cross the road
We arrived at Olifantsbadpan but it was dry and no animals around. We then decided to drive further up and then turn back onto the S144 to see if any of those waterholes have any water.
Only when we turned we noticed the clouds building up
This area very dry
It started getting darker as we carried on
Saw this tree and it just captured my imagination
At a point we thought it's night time already
But no rain.
We arrived back at camp with the wind blowing strong. Decided not to braai as it could be dangerous. It's sad because we always braai on our last night in Kruger
Next episode.... our way out to Phalaborwa gate.

Stately nyala!
Those clouds make for some mystic atmosphere Shame about the lack of rain though. It does look very dry indeed.
