Southern White-Crowned Shrike.

No need for comment here.
Two of the Big Five at Ratlhogo Hide.
The ellie then wandered over to have a closer look at the hide while the rhino stayed in the background.

Re: Three short visits over three days.
We had two lifers during out visits.
First was a caracal - first ever in our lives - crossed the road about 100 metres in front us. By the time we got the camera ready it had ducked into the long grass and disappeared.
On the walkway to Rathlogo Hide we came across this monitor using one of the upright poles a seat.
On our way out he was still lying there watching the passing parade of people. He did not move one inch as folk went right up to him to get a photo.
European Bee-eater.
My photo of a Diedericks Cuckoo was straight into the midday sun but I kept it as one never knows when one will see another.
A nice variety of game at Mankwe Dam.
On the shores of Mankwe Dam.
On our way out on 15.12.2015 we saw a whole lot of Maribu Storks hanging out at Lengau Dam.
Final morning trip to follow and our second lifer.
