As soon as the mist cleared the junior rats charged off with their fishing rods while a few locals watched them from a distance.

The cow, Hawkeyes and the old lady remained at the unit to cook breakfast and enjoyed a few more of the dam locals from the deck.

We had to be out of our unit at 10am and time flew, so we were soon on our way home through the gorge, but we will definitely return and next time spend at least 2 nights.

Thanks for checking this short trip out \O

Yip, perfect combo, especially since I found out that the larger dam which we didn't have time to visit (and were advised not to due to the previous evenings rain) has barbel and carp also O/\

The puffie swam almost the entire length of the dam and we followed, but chose to exit under a unit which is when the stir started as the unit occupants only spotted it because of us and then went into panic mode and evacuated their unit until a ranger came to catch the puffie. 0*\ The ranger put it in a box and said that he would release it away from the units.

The accommodation is very good for the price \O
