look !!!!!!!!

here is a photo of a dam showing how dry it is

ie.......the dam level is very low

it is not a recent photo, it was taken on 26 december 2018

however, it shows the level of the water at a dam

and the fish flapping about in the mud ...

it shows how things are drying out due to the drought

Hmmm..... I cannot understand what all the fuss is about -O-
Southern Africa is currently undergoing a rather dry cycle , with various parts of the country not receiving what is considered as being " normal " .
Drought in the Eastern Cape , drought in parts of the FreeState , drought in Limpopo Province and dry conditions over Botswana and Kgalagadi.
Yes , it does rain somewhat , somewhere , but not in really fantastic quantities . And we see some effects of some rainfall in Kruger now and then - this dam looks OK , but the Sabie river is rather dryish , etc .
And , specifically , the place is not so green and lush with grass and undergrowth such as expected at this time of the year 0*\
It appears that an El Nino system has been developing in Pacific ocean , which affects climatic conditions in Southern Africa .
And scientists have now for the first time started to find some real evidence of what they consider as being signs of climate change --- One sign being the dying off of old Baobab trees .
Something we will have to learn to accept .
Certainly , as per Leachy's signature : the future is not what it used to be :X:

Ja! So discerning viewers may want to see where standing water may be! I put stuff on the rainfall too, but that is temporary? \O
