Don't know, but this is at Mestel Dam, far away from that.

No responses yet... O/

Eugene says the grave is fresh...brand new granite headstone and what not. It is 50m or more in, and impossible to view the inscription.

More to come, hopefully! \O

From today's Lowvelder:

(Translated)

There is no new burial site anywhere in the park and there will never be one except for the Kruger gate one which is the only known burial site in the park. However, there are places where there are graves from people who stayed in the area before the park was proclaimed. The grave referred to has been there for more than 70 years before that part was fenced into the park and it belongs to Chief Mhaule of Nkambeni community, the community which resides outside the park in the area between Numbi and Phabeni gates. They also own a lodge called Nkambeni lodge at Numbi gate. - W Mabasa

Being on contract to type court cases for the "Landclaims court" (OK, I am a girl) this is the first step towards landclaims.

Nah...don't think land claims have anything to do with it. Nkambeni has been completed as a successful restitution agreement, end of story! \O

Best case scenario is that the old grave has been refurbished?

But weird timing! :-?

Saw some fresh flowers on the grave today. It's easily 100 meter or more from the road so I wonder how they have placed the flowers on the grave. -O- My SO restricted me from getting closer as I wanted to go walk about to the grave to take a pic. Rules are rules and no-one allowed to get out of your vehicle. --00--
