We did see Giraffe on our way in the morning to Addo - but on the opposite side of the road.
They seemed much smaller than their Kruger cousins, but they seemed healthy and seemed to have adjusted to eating from the smaller bushes.
Who really knows if they were not perhaps endemic to this area before?
There were also Impala doing well in this setting, same applies to them.

Follow my leader
We were really thrilled to have seen the Cheetah brothers on their last kill in Addo of a Hartebeest.
The next day they were relocated to their new home - Do hope they have settled in well!
We were fortunate to have seen them on a previous visit also when they were still three.
Not much movement with those full bellies

Moved up the road a bit but even here the same views the odd movement of the head.
They were also not very close to the road
Rather a different pose of these three

Mother and child
Big bull close to the road
Heron
Had at least three of these visit us at our accommodation during the evenings
We were leaving the next morning, but decided to drive through the Park and leave at the bottom.
Turned out to be a wise decision……

Re: Ellie's galore and more!
Interesting angle in the photo with the ellie, the buff and the hartebeest. Looks really cool!
But unfortunately, the cheetah take it all away. Love them generally and those Addo ones were something totally special.
Normally you'd hear of cats who break OUT of a park / reserve, but certainly not INTO it
How lucky you were that you got to see them on their last day in Addo! It's kinda like saying goodbye to them.
Ja, wonder how they are doing these days... Do you know to which new home exactly they went, by any chance?

God put me on earth to accomplish a certain amount of things. Right now I'm so far behind that I'll never die.
