I wonder if there is something developing at the behind that might indicate a gender...

You got excellent shots of the cutie pies!

And the BEF - wow - so :-0 Only got a very distant one this time. :O^

God put me on earth to accomplish a certain amount of things. Right now I'm so far behind that I'll never die.

31 October 2014 - Urikaruus

We headed south again and stopped at Rooibrak and waited to see what might turn up. We then heard a lion roaoring from further south so headed that way and found him in the riverbed

Image

He seemed to be calling to the family looking down the river bed so we drove that way and about 2 km later saw a lioness

Image

and she was also calling and looking south. we drove a short distance and found another lioness and not far off two young males

The pride came down to the riverbed and they were playful. The two males were really boisterous showing the exubernace of youth. They playfully made their way towards the big male who was about 3 km away I would say.

Lovely sightings. Some sightings overlapping with mine. The Craig Lockheart lion, the Cape foxes at Leeudril and Mata Mata, lions at Kwang \O

Great action shots of lions playing. ^Q^

Hanri, my favourite cheetah - we saw her on each of our trips O/\ O/\

beautiful BEFs and falcon and the naughty Urikaruus teenagers - we were told that they tried to scare the tourists in camp
Jacques told us about these teenagers. They want to "play" with me too lol . Trick is not to drive or they will chase you. I reversed and they came for us but as soon as I stopped they stopped too.
