29th August 2015 - Day 9: Skukuza - Home
For the drive out the park, we took the H3 down to Malelane, with a detour along the S121 and S114. At the H3 / H1-1 junction we found some lions that were hidden in the grass and not going to move. so after a quick picture we moved on.
The road was dead quiet down to the S121, then along the S121 we found a huge herd of Buffalo, there must have been over a 100 of them scattered on both sides of the road.
Then on the S114 before it joins the H3 we found this lion hunting in the river bed. There was a full charge after an impala but from what we could see the hunt failed.
and we were out the gate at Malelane.
Thanks to everyone who read and followed our Trip Report.
I will follow this post with some of the Rhino we saw but were left out the TR.
Bye
