19th Imfolozi to Home

We didn’t hurry this morning and slept later than normal, so we only pulled out of camp at around 7am.

I hate arriving home late on the last day and I had work and the rats had school the next day, so we decided to not waste time and headed for the gate.

First up was a rhino family and then a herd of buffalo. The one little buff gave us a laugh because it was next to the road and initially didn’t notice the Cow taking pics until we were 1m from it and then it seemed to get a rather large skrik.

Next up was a tawny in the dry riverbed, a nervous giraffe and then elephant causing problems at a picnic spot.

Hawkeyes chirped a few km later that she had spotted something and it turned out to be a male lion waking up.

Lastly we stopped back at the buffalo kill a few km from the gate to snap a few pics.

Thanks to all of you guys that have shared our adventure with us and for allowing us the opportunity to relive our trip.
