I left Punda and headed to Balule. Now unfortunately I can not remember where what was seen, so forgive me. Thus there will be mostly pictures, except for the story at the end.

This picture is just for Lis

That night while I was enjoying a cold beer and a reasonable big fire, a commotion broke out next to the ablutions. A women screamed and everybody rushed there. What we saw was a massive male lion not 5 m away. Was I glad about the fence. Next moment hoofes made the ground tremble and e could hear lions killing something, big. We could not see but you could smell the kill as the lions opened up the stomach. The hyeana's went crazy and the rest of the night was spent listening to bones breaking, hyeana's whooping and the smell of fresh kill in the air. That was the ultimate bush experience. The next morning there was only drag marks and tracks, nothing else.

this is moving fast.

I think the shoot of the lion far down the road is a very nice shoot.

You have had good sightings but the bunny is not so easy to find.
