The Leopard very cautiously came down the tree and it too was gone, leaving us with the morning silence and stillness.
Leopard coming down the tree
I suddenly realized as I clicked to get the one clear shot of the leopard in full view as he jumped down that my CF card was full.
Oh well I was being greedy, but still would have liked an uninterrupted pic which I had just missed.

What a special sighting!!! Doggies and leopard in one go - definitely something to go all over.
Shame for the used storage though. (What is a CF card? )

Thanks Mel, just very lucky I guess but you know us humans we can never get enough.
CF card is just the memory card for my camera that was full as the leopard descended and I missed the one potentially clear uninhibited shot (CF stands for Compact Flash)

Sods law hey Flutts, always seems to happen at the most inappropriate times , anyway lesson learnt.
Just something else to be aware of on my camera in the heat of the moment.

Re: Birthday to never forget… 50 or BUST in Kruger
Once we had calmed down we realized just how lucky we had been it was just past 8:00AM and we had seen the Lion brothers, Wild dogs and a Leopard in a tree and that not really on a game drive but on our convoluted route to Lataba. I was now very chuffed with myself that we had taken the H4-1 and not the H10 as it was a lot shorter. After a brief loo stop and coffee at Thsokwane we hit the road and saw this cheeky Toko in the middle of the road.

Hi Traily
Lovely bird, but not a Toko . Where was the rest of the family?

Hey Toks, This one was really determined to be a part of the show, Ground Hornbill who was adamant that traffic would be controlled at his pace.
