Re: Needs Attention: Kruger Park
Thanks
I also noticed the there were Prickly Pear / Opuntia cactus plants growing along the banks of the Sabie.
This is a very invasive weed that needs to be dealt with quickly.
I have photos on my computer at home and will post phots when I get a chance.

Ok, Dzombs!
The prickly pears have been a menace since I can remember, as birds carry them around too. Working on Water spends a huge amount of resources combating alien vegetation along the rivers, especially Sabie, as do the honorary rangers sometimes.

Ok, the sewage has found the right channel already, it seems.
Send taps and stuff too, Dzombs. Nothing to lose.

Nice quick response from SP!
RP
That steam is the final discharge of Skukuza Sewerage ponds.
Samples taken monthly to ensure compliance.
That water do not smell and you will drink it if you do not know that is effluent.
We sampling all KNP sewerage effluent monthly
I can proudly confess that all effluent discharge in the KNP comply to the National Water Act.
