In India there are people cruising around in the same habitat, but in Kruger people are cruising around in cars, so there’s no proof that if a lion chomps a visitor who’s hanging out a car that the lion or any animal would do it again -O-
right... never said the contrary \O

Thanks Flutts \O

I have seen many incidents worse than this with lion.

We watched a lion actually charge a car on the S100 in 2012 and the kids just made it. We also witnessed a chap open his kombi sliding door next to mating lions for a better pic on the H11 and he also just managed to close the door in time. I reported both these incidents to the camps we were staying in at the time.

These types of things happen often in Kruger, but haven’t caused a reaction until now :-?

Of course there is no proof, it has never happened as far as I know.

Exactly, Duke! \O \O \O

SP management mentality is that they own the Park, and visitors should be only too thankful to use this property, and not get cheeky and try to be clever by "revealing" things. They want total info control, and shoot the messenger or pass the buck or make wild accusations and promises. Same happened with "needs attention", for example... O**

It is strange for a mating couple to hang around in the road for that long...but the male is highly focused, normally, to put it mildly! He just follows the female around, and the extra stuff irritates him! O**
