Mr. Hassam,
Good day for you,.

Having taken the onus on behalf of the honourable one, Boko Molewa,
You may now wish to correct your status regarding the applicant, MSRI
And his dealings with the ministry!! This in context with his approach at
Ministerial level, tri lateral communication in order to keep a granted,
Approval, floating!! It has become very obvious that, at ministerial level,
The act, taken to task in order to accommodate private enterprise!!

Twice over the applicant failed in bringing forth any reasonable progress!!

Dear Sir,
I wish from you clarity and transparency regarding how many years he,
Developer may have at hand in order to fulfil his obligations. I may point out
That one year down the line the applicant wishful of alterations to his approved
Project. Why are we frolicking!!

I herewith, for transparency sake, request data, that will clearly stipulate the amount
Of years he has at his disposal in order to bring this project too fruition!!!

It is quite obvious that he realises huge traffic problems that may just suit, his
Endeavour!!!

You are obliged to come with clarity on this issue!!

Thank you Fred de Groot

A fellow IAP's request to the DEA, legal review,
Dear Mr. Hassam,

Having received Mr. Wright's letter dated 7 June 2017 (attached), it is clear that he did not comply with the requirement of a TIA by the end of April 2017, as stipulated in your letter to him granting an extension on 23 November 2016.

Mr. Wright mislead the DEA in his letter dated 22 November 2016 by stating that "the development is still in the final stages of detailed design and planning", followed by the request "of the requirement for a TIA being required (sic) until April 2017 so that the necessary planning can be finalised".

Your response to the request acknowledges this by stating that "the Directorate: Appeals and Legal Review, on behalf of the Minister for EA, is not opposed to the requested extension until April 2017."

Thus, your department granted, against the declared wishes and interests of the appellants, what was requested by the applicant himself, who promptly failed to comply.

I request, yet again, that you clarify the status of this appeal process. Can the applicant forever fail to meet deadlines, even those suggested by himself?
If part of a project scope changes requiring a new EIA process, does the remainder remain approved for eternity?

Does the environmental authorisation for the MTC stand even though the applicant failed to abide by conditions placed upon him?

Regards,

Thanks, H.

What is interesting about this decade-old dogshow is how reality hits when private developers have to do something and raise money for it, versus the cloud-cuckooland government money that is poured into ventures like Skukuza, for example. .gov is trying to help here via postponing requirements, paying for park&ride, now building a new road...etc.

But it almost feels as if money changed hands LONG ago when embarking on this, and those hands have been washed and left.

self together with a nation unified expressing it's
disgust at .Gov squandering with national asset!!

How will we approach this??, call at their helpdesk,
by way of public participation cum KNP!!

>Gov are becoming the laughing stock as days
pass by!!! These forums, fortunately not political
platforms, yet national parks in the clutches of a
rather dubious authority that may just seek monetary
situation as a answer toward public demand!!

National Parks are a state asset!!! and will need state
input so as to secure it!!! The current trend prevailing
that these assets need to secure themselves would be a
very foolish set of principles to uphold!!!

.gov are going to get nasty to cling on...going to affect SANParks badly, IMO. But let's see, they are pulling all sorts of smoke and mirrors now, but No. 1 is not stupid. And no.s 2-45... lol

Let's face it RP, in the run up to this point,
a rather ridiculous set of principles upheld,
that to justify, either the inefficiency by .gov
(the honorable one) perhaps rather more a
abuse of moral principle, negotiated between
a three party authority!!

It just cannot be classed as correct!!! TIA's are
there for public scrutiny not because we all sit
at the same dinner table, dished some hogwash!1

The whole run to this point, somewhat nonsensical
yet legal, because some ignorant legal advisor decides
that it should be so!!! Why, cause maybe we can score
some cookies in the making!!!

No, I'm afraid, not to be found in my book of principles!!

I'm afraid but to my mind, the moral Kruger,
carries more weight than a shifty legal advisor!!
