We eventually got to Croc and after checking in and setting up camp, we went for a drive up the S28.

But we didn't get far; a traffic jam about a kilometre from the camp revealed our next culinary delight.

At the weir on the Sabie River; ever wonder who does the camp's laundry?

A little further on, a mobile traffic jam was inching towards us. We stopped, waited and got a grandstand view!

He was stalking some Impies.

But got rumbled.

Our next Culinary Delight was in the Sabie River when we continued our drive. I was really glad we weren't closer to this because it must have really ponged!

After a M&B breakfast we headed back to Croc. Just by the H10 turnoff, some of RP's rellies.

And there was RP himself with our last culinary delight of the trip! It was the most repulsive of all of them; so disgusting that Stargazer couldn't bear to look at it and as I took these pictures I felt the bile starting to rise!

We moved on quickly to get away from the vile creature and his grizzly feast.

Two tortoises’ attempting to mate. Male is smaller than the female. Fantastic sighting. They mated and we could hear the silent sounds accompanying the process.
