Jezz, it’s a mission trying to dig up old pics and remember where you have been and when, but here’s a few.
I also have pics of a croc chowing an impala in the Biyamiti River a few km from camp, but I will have to get the Cow, who has more patience, to find them.
I have mixed feelings about this road as we personally haven’t had any major luck on it (the Biyamiti weir just off the S139 can produce big time though), but generally love to squeeze Biyamiti in for the peace and quiet on the road and in camp; however we certainly don’t book the camp due to the number of sightings on the road and have had just as many sighting just sitting in camp. I believe it’s been fairly productive lately though with leopard spotted often just outside camp and about 3 months ago a pangolin was cruising around the camp gate.
The road as stated is peaceful, but in the summer months it can be very overgrown which makes sightings more difficult.
Most who have driven this road and come across ellies will remember the encounter as the ellies in the area seem to have a more volatile temperament and we have been chased many times, but have also seen some “rare behaviour”
Cats make an appearance, but one has to be lucky and when you are lucky you are generally alone.

S25/S139 intersection
The general stuff also pops up all over but I’m just posting a few.
If one is interested in Eagle Owls then this is the road to drive as we have spotted twice as many on this road than any other road in the park.
The view point 2km from camp is a cool place to get out and relax with sundowners. The elusive blackie sometimes makes an appearance in the riverbed just before dark

We have also been chased by an angry elephant on this road back in 2008.
I had to reverse a long way
Strange moves indeed BC Maybe he thought you have a lovely, sexy car and wanted to take out the 5th leg

Yip, we thought the same as my brother's grey discovery caused the reaction. Unfortunately we were so surprised and missed pics of half the action. It was during the 2010 soccer world cup in SA so the rats thought it was doing that strange danceAlf wrote:

From a Katja report, 2012:

The car was filled with ohhhs and ahhhhs. At the junction to Biyamiti we noticed a maintenance sign. There was a huge trench on one side of the road the whole way up to Biyamiti.
I was a bit afraid, what would happen if a herd of ellies would cross our way. No opportunity to turn around or to drive backwards quickly. Well, we were lucky and nothing happened. A Lizard used the opportunity and found himself a new home.
We noticed a herd of impies in front of us and approached slowly. A ram jumped over the trench and it seemed that the rest of the herd wanted to follow him. We stopped and to give them time to do so. Suddenly we saw a huge dust cloud, a staff car came closer with high speed and the impalas rushed over the trench.
Poor Impies, they really got a fright. We didn’t see much on the road, only two Warthogs in the middle of the road. Gladly we could give them enough space to pass our car.
The check in was fast and very friendly and we got hut No. 5, which had a lovely view. We noticed that we didn’t have enough bed sheets for four people and had to go back to the reception, well it was done within no time and we didn’t mind the little mistake.
After unpacking we enjoyed the view and saw a herd of ellies in the riverbed.
A lone Kudu Bull had a groom at dawn.
This Ellie Bull enjoyed an evening meal, before he had a good scratch with lots of noise.
We lit the fire for our first braai and watched the amazing sunset.
Oh what a great day we had, very tired we went to bed early wondering what KNP had in store for us the next day.
