We didn't have enough time to properly check out this area... next time though
The only photos I have are from the S137 close to Duke waterhole when the gomondwane pride had made a kill. Lots of little ones around enjoying the leftovers

Nice unmentionables RP! When we first went to that area in the late 80s we used to call the S130 "The Rhino Road" because we were almost guaranteed to see them there. Not so many on that road these days!
You were lucky to see the local Lions, we've seen Leopard and Cheetah more often than Lions in that area!
I'm going to encroach on the S28 now with some pictures taken at the Nthandanyathi hide which we always visit when we do the S137.

Crocodile.
And some hippos who who got upset....
When Nhlowa came to drink.
You were lucky to see the local Lions, we've seen Leopard and Cheetah more often than Lions in that area!

On the S130 in November 2014, some mismatched Giraffes sparring.
