Plant Identification

Post by Flutterby »

Need a Flora ID? Post your pic here. \O

Interesting photos of identified species will be added to the relevant Africa Wild plant book here on our forum. Usually new entries or additional photos don't show as new posts, but are filed according to taxonomic order (and not according to date of the forum post).
If you don't want your photos to be included to the AW database, please add a comment to your post here.

A suggestion for people wanting an id on plants. Please provide as much info as possible.
What the plant looks like. Maybe even a photo of the plant and not only the flower.
Where you saw it. What time of year.

With similar looking species it helps in narrowing down what the exact species may be \O

If you have the leaves on a pic, we can perhaps get to species level ID ;-)
