There are several spiders associated with funnel webs.


Next step for spiders is to look at the eye arrangement.

Most spiders have 8 eyes, this one, too.

Are all the eyes of the same size or are there two or four larger eyes?

The eyes are in two rows, now we have to determine if the large eyes are in the lower or upper row.

Do the large eyes sit just above the chelicerae = mouthparts (like in the jumpers) or higher up ?

Check here what the position of eyes in the lower row is (such as Salticidae)
