This from a 2016 Sanparks report
In Limpopo Province, a group of 15 GREAT WHITE PELICANS were reported on the 7th
April 2016 along
the S56, just north of the Sirheni turn-off, in the Kruger National Park.

March 2016
PINK-BACKED PELICAN – the 3 birds reported on Sunday from Malelane at the pump tower on
the river at the end of Fish Eagle Bend in town (apparently have actually been present at this site
since 9 March) - reported by Stewart Matheson

PINK-BACKED PELICAN update – 3 birds still present on afternoon of 15th seen from Malelane
(Mpumalanga town and not park camp); they were resting on the Crocodile River (i.e. on the
park’s boundary) and could be accessed via the eastern side of Fish Eagle Bend and were seen
just downstream from the pump tower below the community centre – reported by Michael Raum

Strange that two different species would be present :-?
Maybe someone has made a mistake in the identification O** --00-- I must admit though, that I do not know much about pelicans ;-)
