And the last of the morning drive.

A Kudu bull...

A distant Fish Eagle...

And a distant Coucal...

Back at camp, it was time to pack and start heading back to tar roads and traffic. 0*\

A bit more fun first, the Boss was trying to open the tap on the cooler box to drain the water when he spotted this chap, he was enjoying himself cuddled up under the cooler.

Just a Brown House Snake, a very small model, but all showed a lot of interest in it for a while.

Finally, all packed and ready to go. All that was missing was my favourite sweater that had somehow gone astray.

Not too serious, it can be replaced. We set off after paying our thanks to Mary and Joseph. I must say, I left with a heavy heart. :-(

On our way out there was time for a quick pic of one of the Rhino

...and of an Ostrich.

The last pic of the trip, the other two vehicles ahead of me as we made out way to HQ to drop off the OSV.

 That's probably why we were struck down with various afflictions... O-/

I was planning a Tropical theme, but the weather didn't quite play along, although the sun came out in spades to punish me a bit more on the trip to HQ...

I felt quite cool driving the "Truck"...like some sort of "Camel Man". However, this effect was soon lost when the rangers started giving me funny looks..I hope iNdy explained to them, but I doubt it... :-(

Also, iNdy had mentioned that the vehicle had no handbrake, but omitted to mention the #$@%^ thing had hardly any brakes AT ALL! O/ 0= (0)

Injury #3 was something biting me on my forehead while driving the "Truck"...so I spent the rest of the week with a "beauty spot", so to speak...would have gotten free entrance to any IPL game!

I don't think that is a brown house snake? (Very aggressive little bugger, about the size of what was left of my finger!)

The turds in question were huge...easily lion size, but probably ostrich? -O-

The trees are Jacarandas...which I should have recognised after living in Pretoria for 24 years... 0*\

Thanks to you too, Sprocks! Stunning pics and excellent company! \O \O \O [O]

And thanks to leachy and the Boss for the same...it was good to get out of my hovel. :-)
