now i figured i would continue towards the gate on the r 63

and enter the south western section of the park towards the valley of desolation

this was not to be..........

as the sundays river, which flows into the ngweba dam was "in flood"

and the road was closed..........

i had to go back to the main entrance and travel through town to get to the other side of the park

while still in this side of the park i did come across a few of the other locals spying on me...

Looks like an interesting place. Love the old building. \O

The first raptor (2 pics) is a juvenile African Fish Eagle and the one in the tree is a Steppe Buzzard. \O
