Some are saying that tyre tracks are clearly visible, while others think it was killed by lions or another leopard. Either way, very sad! :-(

Ag, shame... Such a young cutie pie. :-(

God put me on earth to accomplish a certain amount of things. Right now I'm so far behind that I'll never die.

I'm pretty sure it was hit and run over...and quite recently. The blood flow is rather typical of roadkill, and posture would maybe indicate paralysis.

With inter-carnivore kills, the lion tend to fool about with the carcass, not knowing what to do, sometimes eating at it a bit, or just leaving it.

The cuts are quite superficial, but if you look closer you can see quite a bit of blunt force in the rear area. Lions can produce plenty of blunt force, but lots more laceration? -O-

crime scene investigation aside...

i believe that the law of averages points to roadkill

so many similar incidents have happened recently due to non tourist vehicles and after hours traffic

the big blood pool next to the carcass is a dead give-away ('scuse the pun) that the poor thing was squashed........

An independent guide inspected the leopard yesterday and states that it was definitely killed by another predator. SANParks confirms this

Some bad attitude ladies on FB - calling people (especially men) who do not agree with the lady guide as stirrers agreeing with posting on a idiot page (camps and roads in KNP)
