Great pair of horns on the kudu
Definitely Lis, and when you stop for birds you often find other interesting things.

On top of the animals quite an entertaining episode. Had to giggle about the SO getting into the mood of things,
the image of you tagging along behind your own car and also the impaffes ^0^

What's that green and pink stuff in front of the girls? Ice-cream? O-/

After our day in Kruger we had a delicious braai and relaxed around the fire.

Image

The next morning we cooked a huge breakfast and then the boys decided to have a stone throwing competition. O**

Image

That didn't last long and we were off on another game drive. We had heard lions and hyena during the night but sadly didn't see them. There were plenty of jackal around but I only managed this bad pic! lol

Image

Another bad pic, this time of a Martial Eagle.

Image

Some giraffes taking it easy.

Image

The little one looking for game.

Image

There was much excitement when we came across some ellies as Anita and Tony hadn't seen any in the reserve for a while. :-0

Image

Image

Hungry zebbie.

Image

We then popped in to visit some of their friends who live in Grietjie permanently...another lovely house with a stunning view.

Image

They have a waterhole in front of their house but nothing came to drink while we were there.

The giraffe on the left has a strange pattern :-?

Are there no fences? If yes it would be difficult to see giraffes and elephants roaming ;-)

This place looks much better than Marloth \O

You're right, that giraffe does look different! :-? There are no fences between properties or reserves so the animals are free to roam. ;) It's a lot less populated than Marloth and much quieter.
