Wow - thanks Roger - this is catching my attention ^Q^ ^Q^

BC =O: =O: =O: as long as they play the birdie song, I will two-step it. lol
I actually prefer driving to walking. After a while the gear becomes quiet heavy. Thank you for the help. X#X

Thank you all for your birding suggestion on my recent trip to Natal. \O

If I thought that I would have ample time to visit various bird locations on my visit to my son, Theo, I was greatly mistaken. ..0.. He had a jam packed 5day weekend planned and the only time I had some free time, was on Sunday morning while they were preparing a potjie. X#X

Let me start with my trip down to Durban.

I took two days extra leave so that I could travel down and back on a ‘work day’.
We took the fast lane up to Harrismith and then the old road via Bergville.
There were road works going and we had to contend with Stop and Go.
A great part of the road was dirt road. This is a scenic road, and we loved it.

The Jackal Buzzard in the wild was a super surprise and we were lucky to get these shots. O/\

And this was my first picture taken of a black crow ^Q^

Saturday we had some breakfast on the beach at a place called Beach bummers. I loved their furniture....

And we watched some dolphins playing at sea O:V

I was then taken shopping for a nice good bag for new camera and lens, 0/0

And in the afternoon I was in the Shark tank watching the Argentineans run over our Boks!
I was very relaxed and knew I would enjoy the game because Theo and I were shouting for the same team. Normally at a Bulls and Lions game, I have to tread very softly around him should the Bulls loose.

I agree - nice scenery and lovely view on the Drakensberg!

The beach furniture is very inventive, looks good and with the recycling even environmental friendly. Great stuff \O
Was is comfy as well? :-0

Jackal buzzard in flight - super shot ^Q^

God put me on earth to accomplish a certain amount of things. Right now I'm so far behind that I'll never die.

Thanks Mel, they were more comfy than the wooden benches, maybe because you could lean back.
I forgot to mention that Efjay took the Jackal buzzard pics. \O

Thank you Nan. ;-)
