The one who gave it the name "demoiselle" obviously did not know what it means :-? =O:

I looked it up and it seems that "demoiselle" in english is a synonym of dragonfly -O-

Great pics, Dewi ^Q^ ^Q^ \O

Right now I am looking at a documentory from Denamrk and it is incredible the number of animals living in a beautiful forest in the north of the country, that I have never been too. It is beautiful and I feel so nostalgic. If you could be more ceratin of the weather, we would have gone years ago, but........ :O^

More clues...

The oldest known deer, males have downward pointing "tusks."

Would love to go to the Northern European countries watching wildlife Lis. Might get a chance one day?

Glad you liked the dragonflies Fluts.

I love the Stoat ^Q^
"Demoiselles et Libellules", Demoiselle (Zygopter) is one sort and Dragonfly (Anisopter) another one
I have a little booklet very well done about these insects and I've got one today.... but ? can't put a name =O:

Nan, this does not change the fact that there are male "demoiselles" =O:
