The Baronnies's Griffons

Post by nan »

Went 4 days in search of Vultures in the South of France, Drôme : Les Baronnies
there is four sorts of Vultures there :

Griffon Vulture
Cinereous Vulture
Percnoptère, Egyptian Vulture
Gypaete, Bearded Vulture

Image

all are reintroduced, after they were decimated by human... like Wolves, they ate babies 0-

I found "only" one sort, but it was fantastic... a bit like to be in South Africa O/\
The Percnoptere is now alone, its mate was electrified by the wires
maybe now it's gone... to other sky ..0..

let's plant the decor, a big rock wall... to climb on the other side, I need one hour the first day, then 45 min.
a magnificent view over the village of Rémuzat and the mountains around

Image the view from my room
Image a bit foggy... just for the Vultures

Image the target from the face 0*\

and from the behind walk O**
Image at mid way 0*\
