Fathers Day visit to Brisbane.

Neill and Liza arranged for us to do an hours steam train ride around Brisbane.

The train arriving at Brisbane Station.

The coaches still had the really old fashioned lights and fans in working order.

What amazing memories came flooding back to me when I was able to stand on the balcony of the train whilst it was moving. Soot, smoke and wind in my hair and face.
S T U N N I N G!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can remember the days when one could this on the South African Railways.

Brisbane from the ferry on Brisbane River.

I can bet your bottom dollar that the equipment attached to this bike repair station would not last 24 hours in South Africa.
