Look what I did while on holiday in Ballito!!
I knocked my camera off a chair and the UV filter cracked and is now jammed onto the lens! Everyone has had a go at trying to get it off, but no luck! Will have to take it in to see if it can be saved!

You can try Q20, but make sure the lens is facing down the whole time and then when it's off, clean very well and carefully.
When you get it off, do yourself a favour and keep it off for good! Rather keep your lens cap on and take it off when in use. Those filters do more harm than good to photographs. You have a lens that is optically correct and costs a few $$$, only to lower the quality of the lens by placing a cheap piece of glass in front of it. Your photos will look better without using a filter.

Sometimes it’s not until you don’t see what you want to see, that you truly open your eyes.

Re: UV Filter Jammed
I agree with you Sprocks...just put it on when I got the camera and actually forgot it was there! I don't have one on my 150-500 lens.
