Seeing that we don't have a forum for that I'll stick it under photography.
Now, SO & I have taken a fancy to do some little videos.
But they need editing (voices) and cutting (shakes).
What do you use? I got Windows Live Movie Maker on my laptop but seem unable
to manage it. Is there any freeware out there you could recommend? Or maybe
give me advice how to use the program I got?

Video processing software
God put me on earth to accomplish a certain amount of things. Right now I'm so far behind that I'll never die.
Re: Video processing software
Go here and download for free the normal Windows Moviemaker, that's what I use

Re: Video processing software
If I want to upload some video clips that I have on Windows Live Movie maker onto Travel Tales must I first upload them onto YouTube and then copy and paste onto the TT thread?

Like with images - yes, you will have to upload them to a host, STF.
I used tinypic because youtube was giving me hassels.

Re: Video processing software
I have two videos on my hard drive that Windows Live Movie Maker and Windows Movie Maker 2012 just will not open. All my other videos are opened so easily.
When I try to delete these two videos from my hard drive I get a message " Unable to delete as this file is open in another file/folder. Close this file first."
How do I find out where else my videos are open?
Yesterday I downloaded Windows Movie Maker 2012 but I cannot see any difference between 2012 and Live.
Does anyone know of any other video editing software that I could try?

Re: Video processing software
You might have to re-boot your whole system. I had the same problems
with all sort of files before when trying to delete them. Windows sometimes
is a bit
As for a different video maker, I can't recommend anything because I haven't tried anything
but the Windows Live Video Maker, but here is a list with free software:

Re: Video processing software
Thanks very much Mel - I will have a look at the list. The problem is that one must be very careful what one downloads these days.
